Hello there, I'm Antonio Francisco!

I'm a Software Engineer currently based in Matosinhos, Portugal, with a master’s degree in Informatics and Computer Engineering from FEUP. I completed my master's thesis in 2024, having previously finished my bachelor's degree in 2022.

My work focused on developing a CGRA simulator, in Java, and connect it to a RISC-V core ISS, in this case X-HEEP. You can read more about it here.

At the moment I'm working as a C++ Software Engineer at Critical TechWorks, developing software for the automotive industry, specifically ADAS.

Main Interests

I like exploring how low-level hardware interacts with software, and how efficiently we can optimize performance and scalability of computational systems.
I also have an interest in Systems’ Design and backend technologies.
I'm eager to solve challenging problems, learn new skills and contribute with my knowledge to the development of new products and ideas.
When I'm not coding, you can find me playing the guitar, swimming, or learning about physics in a remote Youtube playlist.
