Hello there, I'm Antonio Francisco!

I'm a Software Engineer currently based in Matosinhos, Portugal, with a master’s degree in Informatics and Computer Engineering from FEUP. I completed my master's thesis in 2024, having previously finished my bachelor's degree in 2022.

My work focused on developing a CGRA simulator, in Java, and connect it to a RISC-V core ISS, in this case X-HEEP. You can read more about it here.

At the moment I'm working as a C++ Software Engineer at Critical TechWorks, developing software for the automotive industry, specifically ADAS.

Main Interests

  • I like exploring how low-level hardware interacts with software, and how efficiently we can optimize performance and scalability of computational systems.
  • I also have an interest in Systems’ Design and backend technologies.
  • I'm eager to solve challenging problems, learn new skills and contribute with my knowledge to the development of new products and ideas.
  • When I'm not coding, you can find me playing the guitar, swimming, or learning about physics in a remote Youtube playlist.
